Situated in the Hautes Alpes region, Les Orres overlooks Lake Serre Poncon and is divided into three main areas - Pramouton, Pre-Bois and Bois Mean. Together they form a great ski area with some 62km of piste.
The resort is fairly snow-sure with excellent snow canons covering the slopes. Les Orres itself is a lovely small resort with shops, restaurants and supermarket, all in close proximity to one another.

Hotel La Portette
This is a delightful family run, two-star hotel, ideal for school groups and situated only minutes from the slopes – so close, in fact, that there’s a chairlift right alongside.
Even the ski shop is conveniently located next door and there is plenty of room for ski storage within the hotel.
All rooms are en-suite, with shower and separate WC. The hotel has a large restaurant area as well as a bar equipped with pool table and table football machines, plus facilities to offer video and karaoke. |
