Quebec City provides a wonderful base for schools visiting the East Coast of Canada, rich in French culture and historical attractions, the excellent ski resorts of Mont Sainte-Anne and Stoneham are each within 30 minutes drive.

Quebec provides a great choice of evening activities and excursions, including the Village des Sports Ice Park with its Everest Death Slide. Other activities include an evening coach tour of Quebec , bowling, ice hockey games and shopping. The highlight of the winter is the Carnaval de Quebec, two weeks of frolicking in the snow mid February.

City Stopovers & Niagara Falls

Skiing the East Coast of Canada provides the perfect opportunity to visit some wonderful cities and one of the great wonders of the world, Niagara Falls. Approximately one hour from Toronto, Niagara Falls never fails to inspire with its sheer scale and energy, moving 168,000 cubic metres of water per minute over the 51ft falls. With the Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side and the American Falls on the US side, groups can also visit the Observation Tower and the New York State 's Reservation Park .

Toronto is an easily accessible city, with all the major sights within walking distance, including the CN Tower, the waterfront, the SkyDome and great choice of shopping.

Montreal is a truly unique city, mixing old world charm in the cobbled streets of Old Montreal, skyscrapers which testify to its clout as Canada's second largest city and a very strong French influence which gives it a Gallic sense of joie de vivre. Don't miss Montrealer's passion for ice skating in the parks.

Mont Sainte-Anne is the number one ski area in Eastern Canada thanks to its dependable snow record and choice of skiing, suitable for all levels.

The outstanding ski school is used to dealing with school groups and beginners will soon find themselves traversing the mountain. Intermediate and advanced skiers have a plethora of trails to choose from, including challenging Black Diamond runs, mogul fields and the snow park.

Less than 25 minutes away from Quebec City, Stoneham offers fantastic skiing, a great snow record and a wonderful atmosphere.

Beginners are well catered for and will soon be traversing the whole mountain. Intermediate and advanced skiers can look forward to a number of challenging black runs. Stoneham also offers night skiing and a snow making system covering 86% of the mountains.

A conveniently located hotel with good facilities. Within walking distance of the major shopping mall and bars of Laurier boulevard. Hotel facilities include indoor pool, meeting rooms, outdoor terraces and convenience store.
