- Excellent snow record - lifts over 2000m
- Great choice and volume for all levels
- Modern lift system
Saalbach and its sister village Hinterglemm boast doorstep skiing in the Ski Circus, one of Austria's greatest linked ski areas. 10 peaks on either side of the valley are lined with a modern lift system few areas in Austria can match.
There are plenty of confidence building slopes, but the real boon is for intermediates who can travel round the main circuit and feel as though they are getting somewhere.
Saalbach is larger and more cosmopolitan, with a wider variety of shops and bars, whereas Hinterglemm is smaller and quieter.
