- Vast skiing area with something for all abilities
- Superb snow record
- Traditional Italian hospitality
At the heart of the Milky Way ski area, Sansicario is the ideal resort for groups of mixed abilities. With an abundance of beginners and intermediate slopes, plus plenty for the advanced skier, it is no wonder the area was chosen to host the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Built in the 1970's, Sansicario is the most modern of the Milky Way resorts, but this does not detract from its appeal and there is no shortage of traditional Italian hospitality.
Cesana sits right in the centre of the Milky Way and is a typical Alpine style village where you will find shops, cafes, restaurants and Pizzerias.
Its traffic-free centre adds to its appeal for school groups.
