- A skier's paradise
- Perfect for all abilities
- Snow sure resorts
Situated in the Southern French Alps, Serre Chevalier was once one of France’s best kept secrets.
Lately, due in no small way to the exploits of a certain Luc Alphand, the secret is out and Serre Chevalier is now well-known as one of Europe’s top ski destinations. The resort itself is made up of several villages including Chantmerle, Villeneuve and Monetier.
Depending on your choice you can experience modern France or a traditional mountain village.
The ski area is as extensive as it is challenging with good access from
each of our featured villages.

ClubHotel Le Sporting
The Skitopia-run Le Sporting complex can be found on the edge of
the village, about 300 metres from the Pontillas lift. Proficient skiers
and boarders are able to ski almost to the door when they return to
the village at the end of the day. The hotel itself forms part of a large complex which includes two blocks of apartments, the resort swimming pool and health club, as well as the hotel accommodation block. There is also a large sun terrace, which is popular later in the season. Most of the rooms are en suite and offer a good level of comfort. |

Hotel Le Lievre Blanc
This old coaching inn owes much of its charm to the exposed beams, huge open fireplaces and cosy bedrooms. This together with the warm, friendly atmosphere is what makes it so popular. The hotel is in the old part of Villeneuve with the ski shop next door and local shops close by. The bus stop for travel along the valley is at the end of the street and it is only a short walk up to the lifts and ski school.
