- Skier's paradise with superb snow record
- Quintessential New England resort
- Excellent customer service
Stowe is the quintessential New England Ski resort, with an enviable snow record and a variety of pistes to suite all ability levels. Cosy inns and clapboard fronted buildings add to the unique atmosphere, in a town that boasts over 50 restaurants and 90 shops.
Skiing is split between Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak, on mountains that have something to offer everyone.
Beginners will soon be skiing from the top Mount Mansfield and advanced skiers can't miss the Famous Front Four - Double Black Diamonds. And if you don't get enough during the day, there's always the night skiing.
The skiing is not as big as Killington, but the overall experience is arguably better and the skiing is perfectly adequate.
